Abstract:This chapter will provide a rationale for centring humanising principles in all areas of a university, exploring the benefits this could have. The chapter will then apply the adapted Humanising Framework presented in Chapter 1 and introduce a variety of research-evidenced ideas based on the framework’s humanising principles to illustrate how doing so can improve the student journey. Within the chapter, the authors will provide accounts of their journey to humanise HE, identifying areas still to be developed and exemplary strategies which have made a positive impact on their provision.
