Abstract:

This exhibition comprises of a series of 3D printed replicas of Iron-Age and Roman burials from an archaeological context. The burials were captured using photogrammetry, as part of the Durotriges Big Dig at Winterborne Kingston in Dorset. The virtual models were subsequently 3D printed at a high resolution, before being hand painted and put on display at Wareham Town Museum. The exhibition also included tactile hands-on versions of the prints for the benefit of visually impaired visitors.
