Abstract:Domov tells the story of two women who live and work in a Czech nursing home where women prisoners work as care assistants. The film follows Mrs Teskova, a patient, and Dana, a prisoner, who each want to leave the institution and restart their lives outside. The film was made as part of doctoral research in the Czech Republic during 1999-2000.
