Biography
Gbola is a Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management (HRM) and brings international teaching and research experience. He leads on the Inclusivity in Organisations and Society research theme.
His background is diverse (from five countries and the UNDP), including collaborative research and consultancy work. He is interested in a multi-methods research approach, having used various quantitative and qualitative methods in his works, albeit more strongly aligned with the former. He is an active reviewer for over a dozen scholarly journals, book publishers and academic conferences. As an educator, his academic research informs his pedagogic approach. He also has management consulting experience in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Gbola is an established thought leader in his scholarly areas of academic engagement.
Research
Gbola's current research and supervision interest, as well as thought leadership, focus on four streams: (1) Diversity and Inclusion (2) Well-being and work-life balance; (3) Careers and Employability; (4) Unethical work practices.
In addition, he has previously worked and supervised work related to employee engagement and commitment.
Gbola has experience in research supervision at the PhD level and welcomes enquiries from keen and highly dedicated individuals on doctoral research supervision, especially in the above areas.
