Biography

I was actively recruited to Bournemouth University in 1999 to jointly assist the pioneering of the student caseloading project. Part of my scholarship in education is linked with student caseloading and I have led and assisted with the student caseloading project at Bournemouth University which has attracted national and international interest and has resulted in a number of commissioned publications and conferences. This interest and scolarship is linked to my belief that students can truly learn to appreciate and promote woman-centred car through such an educational initiative. My scholarship in education is focused on the provision of woman centred care and promotion of salutogenesis, holism and normality of birth. I am passionately committed to these endeavors which reflects my current research interests which is centred on students’ confidence in promoting and facilitating physiological birth, this has now become an international research endeavor with other Higher Education Institutes...
