Biography

Veronica is a Lecturer in Adult nursing at Bournemouth University since February 2022.

She is an experienced registered nurse who has worked both in the UK (since 2014) and Spain, where she was trained. She has varied experience as a laboratory technician, sports and neurologic physiotherapist and as a nurse, she has worked in bone marrow transplant and haematology units, in vitro fecundation and during the last 5 years she has worked as a Theatre Practitioner, which she continues practicing as a bank staff at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.

Veronica completed her undergraduate studies: Physiotherapy Degree (2005) and Nursing Degree (2008) in La Laguna University, Spain. After that, she studied a Postgraduate Certificate in Emergency, in School of Health Science, Complutense of Madrid (Spain) in 2010, Postgraduate Certificate in Structural Osteopathy for physiotherapists, Escuela de Osteopatia de Madrid (Spain) in 2013, Masters Degree in Legal and Forensic Nursing, CEU Cardinal Herrera University (Spain) 2018, and she is currently studying Masters Degree in Nursing Special Care in A & E, critical care and post-anaesthesia in Miguel de Cervantes University...
