Biography

I am Head of Department for Midwifery and Health Sciences, and also Lead Midwife for Education. My main teaching interests are research methods and evidence based practice, as well as transitions to parenthood and infant feeding. My research largely involves looking at how people learn about and perceive health information, from school children though to heathcare students at university. I am also interested in how the media reports on childbearing issues.

Research

My research interests are in infant feeding and learning technology/learning behaviours
